So, my garage isn't heated or anything special, but I've got room in it for maybe 2 or 4 more mopeds. If anyone needs to store their bike for the winter, I can do so. It's secure, and centralized (I'm in south mpls).
I'm not looking to make 'rent money' from this - just making an offer for those that may not have a garage.
I'm tempted, I wish I had a garage so bad. I know kim and tambo operate without garages too. Marie and me are sharing a truck for the first winter ever, I think there will be a couple winter ped rides in my cold future...
Well, if you decide you want to store it here, just let me know. All you gotta do is get it here somehow.
Oh, and winter rides are made more bearable by making hand shields for your handlebars. Cut a liter soda bottle in half lengthwise and then zip tie the halves to your bars, so they shield the grip areas.

Also. I have a heated undeground garage. With a huge bike rack.
Well, nuts to you Maize. I think you live by my in-laws house - maybe I'll empty my garage and keep my peds all nice and toasty this winter!
also free storage at my place, no heat garage.
I actually drained the gas out of mine and hauled it up to my bedroom where I can work on it warm and comfy. My landlord would probably have a coronary, but it beats trying to work on it in a dusty, badly lit apartment garage.
