I'm going to do a sealed bearing conversion on some puch wheels. Bearings are 28mm and the ID of the hub is 29mm. I don't need much so it just doesn't seem worth it to spend $25+ on a roll just to cut a couple small strips off of it.

Never heard back from that other dude who had the .5mm Shim Stock so I got some myself.
Selling a Rectangle of shim material... should be able to make 5 of them if you cut em at 9mm.
Careful when bending the steel, I broke a piece off my 1st attempt, hence the extra material.

I believe we have some 0.020 stainless steel sheet scrap at my work but it might be a bit thick (0.020 inches = 0.508 millimeters) I can bring some home and you could pick it up and try it if you like.
Not to butt in, but I have used 0.020" shim stock. Much easier to find, and works just fine too. The aluminum hub is very forgiving. Trick/Tip: Cut the width 1mm less than the bearing width, and cut it a bit short in length as well ((Pi*D)-2mm). Helps a ton for installation. Plus taking it out after it is covered in locktite to adjust the length gets annoying.
